I am a Professor in the School of Geography and Development and in the Center for Latin American Studies at the University of Arizona. As a human-environment geographer and political ecologist, my research focuses on the political ecology of water/critical water studies, water governance, climate vulnerability and adaptation, and climate justice. I work in Mexico, Central America, the U.S.-Mexico border region, and the southwestern U.S.
